While this species has probably disappeared from much of its historical range, it has been recorded in the states of Bahia, Cear, Pernambuco, Alagoas, Sergipe, Piau, Mato Grosso, Gois, the Federal District, Minas Gerais, Tocantins, Paraba and Rio Grande do Norte (1).
